When and where is the wedding ceremony?
What time should I arrive to the ceremony?
Please arrive 30 minutes early so that our wedding event team can assist you to the ceremony area. Nuptials will start once the wedding party is ready.
Where should I stay?
If you plan on staying at the hotel venue, we are happy to share that Meruska is offering special rates to our wedding guests. Other accommodation suggestions are available on our travel preparation guide.
Is transportation provided during the wedding day?
Yes and No. Yes, if you are staying at our suggested nearby hotel accommodation. No, if you are staying at other hotel accommodation.
Can I take and post photos of your wedding and share it on social media?
We will be having an "unplugged ceremony", this means there will be no mobile phones or cameras. We hired professionals to capture precious moments for us and promise to share our photos as soon as we receive them! Our guests , however, can use the "cocktail hour" to take as much photos as they can, just before the sunset. Our only request is to wait until either the bride or the groom have publicly posted pictures before you post your own.
Are children invited?
We love all the littles! However, since the reception dinner will be until late in the evening, invitations will be specific as we have a very limited number of guests.
What happens after the wedding ceremony?

What is the dress code ?

Gentlemen : We recommend skipping 'barong' and coat(s) as it could make you uncomfortable given the warm climate in Bali.
Ladies : Wear cocktail dresses that are modest but airy. We will totally understand if you will choose to wear your best but please make sure that you feel comfortable in it. As the location for the wedding ceremony is near the beach and wedding reception at the garden, we highly suggest wearing a block heel shoe over a stiletto.
Any cocktail / evening dress that brings us back to the 60s, 70s , 80s or 90s is welcomed but not required. Your presence and comfort is important to us.
Can I bring my gift to the wedding?
Your presence during our wedding day is already a gift. If you are feeling generous, we have a message for you on our cash gift registry page.
What happens after the day of the wedding?
Newlyweds, us, will still be at the hotel venue, probably taking our brunch at the cafe or beach restaurant. If you are around the area, please don't leave without saying goodbye! Stop by to see us, we will be happy to share hugs and selfies with you!
I noticed that RSVPS are now closed. There's been a change in my schedule and I'm now able to attend. Who can I reach out to?
As much as we want to invite everyone we know, please understand that we have a very limited no. of guests. Our RSVP list was carefully selected and we really made an effort to talk to each and every one personally as we feel that it is the right thing to do when you have a relationship with someone. If you did not accept our invitation, do not feel sad, we totally understand. However, please note that within the given time to accept or decline the RSVP, we might have considered giving our invitation to you, to someone from our wait list.
I have a question about the wedding but it's not listed here, who can I reach out to?
Our wedding event team is available to respond to your queries at least 7 days before the wedding day. Make sure you have WhatsApp installed on your mobile phones so it'll be easier to communicate locally or internationally.

TIPS
Book soon. We recommend booking as soon as you know you're coming. We've organized sending our invitations early because we wanted our guests to plan early.
In addition, please make room for possible adjustments on the schedule. If you are "budget conscious", we highly discourage purchasing flight tickets that aren't rebookable/refundable. Surely, our wedding date is locked in but any cause of delay due to unforeseen circumstances such as cancellation of flights due to bad weather is out of our control.

Traveling from and to the airport
Traffic in Bali depends on the weather season and the influx of tourists arrivals. As best practice, we recommend checking your google maps to have an estimate of your travel duration.
Transportation in Bali
There are plenty of transportation options. We recommend booking a grab or gojek car if you plan on staying convenient.
